I've seen threads talking about sedan to coupe swaps and vice versa, but mine is different... My 05 G35 automatic doesn't have memory seat option and planning to buy a donor seat with memory seat option in it, do you guys know if doing this will be plug and play and the memory option will work on mine or do I need to do anything else, the donor seat looks exactly line mine.

New G35 owners My wife drives it too and sometimes it's kinda tedious to set the seat to desired position. Thanks for your replies.

 

Not plug and play from what I recall reading somewhere. I don't think the memory functions are contained to the seat, so the memory seat has extra wiring from the body harness.

Also keep in mind 03-04 seats are wired different than 05-06.

 

The memory seat is from an 06 g35 coupe, mine is 05 g35 coupe.

 

Then the wiring for everything other than memory should be plug and play. I am saying adding a memory seat to a car that did not have memory seats -> the memory seat upgrade will not work.
