Baby Seat in the Coupe

soo, i was wondering if anyone has a baby seat in the back seat of the G coupe. space is tight back there and i was wondering if it was possible. i know that the car comes with anchors but it necessarily mean that it fits. are there certain brands of car seats that fit better? any input would be great. tnx

I have had my baby seat in the coupe. The anchors work fine with my seat. It is a Graco seat. Kind of a pain to put in and out, but it fits fine.

I remember when I first got my G, I went to the Infiniti website and they had a list of all the recommended child seat brands and particular models of each brand that will fit the back seat of the coupe. Some stores will let you try installing the seat before you buy it. It is a PITA to strap infants in. It gets better when they get older and use the booster seat. Good luck!

had no problem with an infant seat...we had a peg perego. now we use the britax regent, front facing. the anchors work great but we needed to elevate the seat a bit with towels but it's pretty snug. good luck.

I had 2 in my back seat a few times.... make sure the base of it is small enuf to fit the seat and use the tie to anchor it on top... one time the seat leaned over on a turn.. but they fit

It's easier with the rear facing that have the base. Then you can easily mount the base in the back without struggling with the seat attached. Putting them in and taking them out is a piece of cake after that.

^^^agreed...but eventually you will have no choice but to move to a front facing seat.

I had an infant one in my G coupe and it fit fine, just had to add some towels to lift it up to recommended angles, It was a graco. I also had to sit the lip of the seat between the headrest and the top of the seat. It also secured it in place from moving from left to right. Now we have a toddler front facing, graco as well, only because the base fits between the seat bolsters.
I got a lot of comments from others about having a 2door car and a baby, but I just laughed. Those that thought it was a pain in the arss, I laugh because I Think too many people give up what they have and by minivans for no reason. I grew up in a family of 6 and we we had all 2 doors except for our full size van that we took on vacations.
Having my daughter and the coupe is a little more work, but it is better than driving a POS minivan or 4 door car that I hate.
