Lightbulb Idea: Annoying coupe passenger seatbelt fix!

So I was driving to work in my coupe this morning and the passenger side seatbelt buckle started to rattle against the door/side pillar again. I was thinking that if somebody put a magnet in the door, one in the pillar and maybe one in the seat, the seat belt buckle would stick to one of the three (depending on positioning) and hopefully put an end to this problem. Just wondering if anybody has tried this yet, and if you see any potential problems with a magnetic field potentially disrupting door sensors / airbags in the pillar. Etc.

ideas? comments?

Idea #1, just extend the seat belt arm and recline the seat so that the seat belt buckle doesn't have room to rattle against the door.

Idea #2, turn the belt buckle 180-degrees around the belt so that the metal portion of the buckle is resting against the leather seat.

I opted for Idea #1 and it works perfectly. Idea #2 also works (I have friends who've done it) but I didn't want to have the "look" of the belt being 'backwards'.

hmm mine tends to still smack the door even when fully extended with the seat out of the way. i wanted a solution that we wouldent have to even think about later. what if youre already on the freeway and it starts to rattle! its kinda bad to lean all the way over and adjust it...

ummm how about buckle that seatbelt? since you have tints on your windows people can't see you anyway... i know it feels little odd and stupid but why not try it? better than annoying rattles!!

p.s i did this b4 and of course no more rattles... and i have 10% tints so no one can see my face wondering why the heck he buckled that thing...
