I couldn't figure out how to pop them out, I was worried about damaging the covering.

Just try and get an opening on one side of the cover and put your finger in there and pop it out. It should come out easily with a little force.

Yea, I agree with Cru that the PIAA's seem a bit brighter and have a cool blueish tint to it that is slightly noticeable. Went with Cru's suggestion awhile back when I started this thread to go with the more expensive PIAA's and I'm glad I did. The Vision Bulbs ones look good too, no doubt. Still haven't changed out my trunk light though...can't find a way to get that cover off...anyone know?

I'm glad you're happy with the PIAA's. It's been so long since I did mine that I don't remember how to pop the trunk light cover. I'll take a look at it when I get a chance and get back to you.

Great, thanks! I remember when I first PMed you about the PIAA's that you had yours done like 2 years ago.

mine was this round-looking plastic thing - you just squeeze it and pull down, and it comes off.

There is a tab at the base of the plastic dome. Use a small screwdriver to bend the tab out which releases a latch. The dome will hang from a hinge in the rear.

Great, thanks guys! I'll go do it sometime next weekend when I'll hopefully get my GG and MD shipped to my house!

I just installed the vision bulbs. All went well until the door steps. I didn't have the patience to wait for them to go out before changing them. Now they are both out. I think that a fuse may have blown but can't seem to find which one it is. All of the other lights work. Any ideas as to what the problem might be?

Just a warning...visionbulbs has horrible customer service. They sent the wrong bulbs, even after I called them myself to try and ensure that the correct bulbs were sent. Then they wouldn't take a return. Then they accepted the return, but won't refund the money. So I'm down $40 + $20 to ship the bulbs back to Canada with tracking, and I have nothing to show for all this.

no it won't work - clear corners (or just - corners) use wedge bulbs 168.
