Question Interior Lighting Kit

I was browsing around and found an interior lighting kit for the G35 Sedan. The site is www.visionbulbs.com and it seems to be a good buy at $34.95 for 7 bulbs that would include bulbs for the map lights, door courtesy lights, rear courtesy lights, and the trunk light. I'm wondering how many people have already made a conversion for their interior lighting to bright white xenons and their feedback on it (quality, brand, etc). Also, I am interested in trying to get a group buy on this lighting kit. What do you think? Are enough people interested in this?

There are a bunch of threads on interior lighting upgrades in the "lighting" section of the tech forums.

Not a bad mod. I wasn't planning on doing this before, but the price is really competitive. Don't waste your time trying to get a group buy for these products. It's already at a low price- the distributor probably has a low profit margin as is. Even if they offer 10% off, is it really worth your time/effort organizing the whole thing?

Just my $0.02.

Me too. I spoke with the sales rep from Lexus which we got my girlfriends car from, and told him that "we are really interested in an RX330, but need to drive it around for a few days to see if an SUV is practical..." So, now I have a 4wd car to take up to Tahoe, instead of my G35 snowplow!

This is what happened when I took my Maxima to Tahoe 2 years ago (don't mind the douche next to the Yukon):

PS- sorry for the threadjack!

I've replaced all the bulbs you mentioned only I used PIAA Xtreme White bulbs. I'm very happy with the results, albeit I spent a bit more than $35.

Nice . Cru, do you have pics to post of that? I did a search but it seems like your old thread on it was too old and it doesn't show up. PIAA's sound damn good to me too...

Also, what do you think about the lighting compared to the stock bulbs?

I can post pics when I get home in the morning. The PIAA's are much whiter and cleaner than the dingy yellow stock bulbs. A definite must do inexpensive mod.

Oo

Wait... hold up here. Boris has an rx330 to take up to Tahoe? Free car rental service from Lexus now?

But anyways, back to the topic, I was thinking of swapping out my interior lights this Christmas. I can pick up the PIAA's at a normal autoshop around here right? I dont have to buy it online and wait for shipping correct?

Do they have any blooish bulbs? XD
