M45 Push Button Start Installed w/ Pics.

Well it has been installed, $100 bucks and 7hrs later. It looks good, but it don't work. I have ran outa time this weekend to do anymore to it so it will be left for next weekend to get it working. Anyways I had a real tough time with the wring process. I used every write up made for a push button start and all of them used the S2000 starter button which had a different conection area from what M45 button used( S2000 had 5 pins and the M45 has 8 pins), so I modified the same way that the others did with the S2000 button, but it didn't work. If anyone knows a tech that can maybe point me in the right direction in knowing how to wire this thing at the back of the button that would be great. Thanks

You sure you want to have it mounted on the passenger side like that?

you got some scuff marks around the trim. are you getting stick-on
trims to cover it up?

Hope you are planning to keep the car for a very long time. I don't htink anyone would want to buy a car that has been butchered like that. This is definitely a one-off, and I don't think anybody in this world can fix it when you are not around. Not unless you document the entire set up in great detail, still I think most people wouldn't want to touch that with a ten foot pole. The dealer? Forget about it.

I was thinking the same thing.

With my friends always screwing with all the buttons on my dash and Nav, I'd be blowing through flywheels and starters left and right. Maybe you should run electric current through the button whenever the car is running as a precautionary measure to ward off potential meddling passenger fingers.

like everyone else said. i would've put it on the driver side. That button is not for passengers to push.

but then again stupid infiniti put the volume, temp, and navi joystick on the right.

Stupid Infiniti? Oh yeah, you buy a low-volume Japanese LHD conversion which we all love, and all the ****'s on the wrong side. DUH!
