I had an Infiniti engineer tell me there was a replacement clock available. Even told the "service girl" to order one for me. People over on Freshalloy.com have posted they have had the replacement clock installed. The engineer did say that they went with a dimmer clock because of the reflection on the windshield with a brighter clock.
To tell the truth ... I couldn't care less about the brightness of the clock. When I turn down the dashlights I can see the clock fine. If they never call me and tell me the replacement clock is in, it will be OK with me. I rather not go back to Infiniti for any reason. My plan is not to go back until my 36 months are up to turn the car back in. It is a great car, just a lousy Company ... It might be that I picked the worst dealership and not the company as a whole. But from what I have been reading it sounds like my dealership is more in the normal.
Based on my experiences I doubt that I will ever buy another Infiniti/Nissan product. I would be more likely to buy a used Nissan product than dealing with a Nissan/Infiniti dealership. I let Infiniti know how they delt with me and I have been told that the sales guy is gone and the Sales Manager has been singing a different tune lately.

I filed a complaint with Infiniti customer service's web site yesterday.
I'll keep everyone posted on what happens. That is if it really gets replaced. Cause I hate this clock and not being able to see it at all at night.
