04 -> 05 Interior?

Is it possible to change an 04's interior to an 05's...

Im assuming it would be alot of work and costly.

I think someone with an insane amount of patience tried this. I don't know how you can search for this but there were prior threads on it. It might have been "AccordFreak" - you can try searching for his posts...

Well, what you can do is wait until someone here do the DD conversion and sell you his/her parts. Hell, I'm planning on doing the conversion very soon. If you get everything, that might make it easier.

A full 04 -> 05 conversion is a lot more parts than just the DD finisher and HVAC controller. The entire front dash is different, from the clock/HVAC display readout to the center console and center console trim to the instrument panel (gauge cluster is different).

I'd say it's not worth it...

EDIT: forgot to mention also if you have navi, the 05+ is motorized. Again, probably not worth it but definitely possible.

Wouldn't just be cheaper to take a loss on an '06 trade?

i assume its possible, but it would be cheaper to trade.
you'd need:
new gauge pod
new gauges
new steering wheel assembly
new body control module
new dash
new secondary display
new climate control
double din components
door panels
and more..

OH, you wanted to do a complete conversion. I don't know why I thought only the Stereo (I remember reading about a person that just did a conversion on the stereo only), which if I remember correctly was a huge pain. I know that the 05+ has a nicer interior (IMHO) then the 03-04's, but yeah the conversion would be very expensive. But hey, you guys have the Brembo's (even with its ugly Gold color) so you guys have something to praise about (although I hear the upkeep and the maintanance cost is pretty expensive).

i have never tried, but i have been in there a lot since i changed out all my interior lights like accord freak. i would say that its really not worth it and a HUGE pain and possibly even borderline impossible (anything is possible with enough $$$)
