Yes, at least the base police do. If you look closely you will see my plate in the windshield. It is white with a red diagonal stripe going through it.

That's fo' sho'

I was hoping to be able to recruit some buyers from over here, but their are so few V35 Skylines that it would be pretty tough to find buyers, let alone enough to make it worthwhile .

Where in Japan are you? How's the weather? (^_^)

I'm guessing it's very humid now.

Nice car! You should take pix of people's reactions to seeing you on the wrong side of the car.

I'm staying in Yokosuka and Yokohama. I'm going to be moving to Yoshii, which is a little south east of Yokosuka. That's the house in those pictures.
You are right it is very humid here. Even now at midnight it is over 85 degrees outside. The car is registering ~90. It has been running high since I picked it up here. I get a lot of reactions on base and a few off of base. Today a group of people in a Lexus were all staring at us as they passed on the Yoko-Yoko (local highway). Even when they were about 20-30ft ahead of us they were still staring hardcore. It's pretty funny, but I likey

Just talked to my wife,
She said that she saw them from before they passed us. She said they looked interested when they saw the rear of the car. Guessing because it says Infiniti G35 instead of Skyline 350gt. Then of course I have the G35Driver stickers on my small side windows. Then when they saw the left had drive their Jaws dropped She also says that when people notice the car is left hand drive, they stare. Obviously, I'm driving so I don't notice as much as she does. As long as she is in the car it is good to be in a LHD car, because she can work the tolls, parking garage machines, and hand my ID to base security as we are going through the gate

I get a lot of compliments on base as well. Just in the last week I have been told nice car 3 times or more, by random people that I don't know. In the US, that equaled the last year .

I've seen quite a few GTR's, but they were always rolling on the opposite side of the road. Kinda weird how that happens

As far as Onsen's go. I haven't gone this time, but the last time we were here I went with my wife. We spent way too much money on the hotel room (~700). We know better now.
Soapland? Never heard of it. Sounds like you are talking about a "soapy" from Thailand.

I was thinking the same thing... but now that I re-viewed the pics, I think he meant "van" not "fan"... the van in the driveway down the street in one of your pics...

Hmm, looks like it. I'm moving in tomorrow. I'll take some pics of it and get the tire/wheel size. Japanese people will pimp out any ride.

Sir, that is definately a no go. 3 reasons
1. Can't justify spending $500 for a bath.
2. I am not Japanese, so supposedely I couldn't anyway.
3. I am married
