Secret? just kidding. It's electroluminicent light, very tricky stuff. It's flexible and flat like paper. Lights up to around 5300K in color, it's not extremely bright like CCFL, but it definitely accents whatever you intended for. Which in this case, fit in the tight space and work perfect for the application.

great job ivory! i was also thinking of just cutting strip also but i knew i couldn't make it that acurate. everything looks great! btw. where did you find that paper thin light? IMO i like it better than CCFL. it's not too bright and it's not too dim. CCFL is too bright..

Heh i'm glad I inspire you. But it takes a lot to inspire and impress me so it's not your fault and don't worry about it However if you want some constructive cristism. The first thing I would say is, that even though the TL is large, and I know it took you some work to mount it. However it's not centered in the opening of the headlight. And second, a projector lense in front of the turn signal does look cool, but it seriously limits the width of the turn signal output. Then again that might not be that big of an issue if it's more about look. Hehe...

I do have a questoin though, can that TL projector be adjusted up and down independently?

The reason I ask is, that projetor needs to be able to be adjusted independently from the top projector so you can align them up properly. And... if it does move, then is the bezel attached to the projector or is the bezel attached to the outer plastic trim and the bezel itself iss lightly oversized then the TL lense to compsentate for the clearance to move up and down?

You can't see it with the parts painted, but in this first picutre you posted..

The bezel looks nice on the bottom fitted to the headlight, but it sure wont move up and down since it'll hit the main plastic chrome piece before it even budges. I'm just curious if you took everything into consideration that's all

Larry
