Another thread about 06' headlights.

I know I know another stupid thread about the 06' headlights, but I can't find anything about if they can fit a 03' - 04' G 35 coupe.

So can some one please tell me if it is possible to switch out the 03' headlights with the 06' ones without any problems and if so what else needs to be changed besides changing the D2R blubs to D2S blubs???

I just received my 06 projectors w/ all the bulbs and stuff... I have not installed them yet, since my baby is in the repair shop... but I have researched the thing before ordering and the answer is YES.

I have an 05 with 06 projectors. It is plug and play. As far as the warranty I am not sure.

Does anyone know if it draws more power?

There is NO problems swithcing out your housings for the '06's.... Warranty? Why would you need one if you keep your back-up pair... They most likely will not warranty them... Unless you have the dealership install them I would guess.

No it does not draw more power. Everything is the same. The clearance strip bulb simply moved to the citylight. Nothing really changed except the apperance.

It'll be simple direct plug and play. Unless, you are from Canada and buyinfg the US version, you need to do some rewiring (quite simple if u know how to saulder and cut wires).

This is the case due to the retarded "day light driving light" rule in Canada.

there is no different harness. The plug is the same, the shape is the same, everything is the same except how it looks. Even lighting performance isnt all that much better.

So it will be plug and play. unless you have the canadian version...
