V-leds installed *doors, plate, and reverse*

Ok here is the pics i promised those looking at V-led lights.
Here is the list of the exact bulbs i bought.

License Plate (168): 2 HID White Inverted Cone Wedge Base LED
Back-up(reverse) light (921): 2 Super HID White 9 LED
Step light (under door panel)(3175): Super HID White High Power LED Bulb

All bought at V-leds.com

My thoughts: I was looking for nice WHITE lights when i got these (since my car is IP). Well that wasn't the case, i guess they are too high power reflected or whatever to be white so they turned out blue to me...

p.s: dont get me wrong these are very bright and nice lights but not the "white" i was going for. PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR OPINION and Let me kno if they look ok even though they are not pure white, thanks. (im asking for opinion cuz im very picky)

i guess the only thing that made me not smile so much is the fact that my fogs are a hyper yellow so these lights throw everything way off. should i change the fog bulb to something close to this color or change the v-led lights to some type of amber. I confooosed

leave it as is.. it'll grow on you. I have yellow fogs too and everything seems to match when you look and smile for a while

remove the plastic cover on the trunk latch (the car latch not the hood latch). pry back the carpet and remove the (three?) nuts from the long bolts using a deep well socket. the bolts are molded into the light housings. after the nuts are removed, slide the tail lamp assy straight back. do not try to remove on corner faster than the other because the bolts will bind up on the holes. remove the reverse light socket by turning it and assemble in reverse order. takes like 20 minutes to do both as long as you don't drop any nuts (like me). and don't tighten them too hard or they'll snap the bolts right out of the housing. hope that helps.

yup wut he said^^ they are 3 bolts size 8mm i believe small ones and they aren't on tight at all. Just try to use something magentized because those little bolts will want to fall right out of your hands if your not careful and it will VERY time consuming and hard to find if it falls.

Which bulb did you use exactly for the step light? The stock step light bulb is ony 7 mm wide, so a 10mm bulb does not fit.

Meh, output looks weak as it should. These plug in bulbs just suck. No offense. You are better off in retrofitting some Luxeon stars into your housings. I would be REALLY concerned using these plug in LEDs in your backup lights. I am sure you won't be able to see s^*(.
