I have an 04 sedan and i want that white/blue light look to the license plate like the lexus IS or GS. I know that i can order the 168/194 wedge bulb from superbrightleds.com, but can i just go the lexus parts dept. and pick one up. does any one know if it is the same wedge bulb or does anyone have a way of finding out. i'd rather go to the parts dept. because i live right next to one.

then why dont you go and ask them if they carry 194/168 bulbs

also..try checking the lamp replacement guide on sylvania.com

 

i did check the sylvania guide. it said that the license plate bulb for the is 194, but for the gs it is led. weird

 

weird. welp, just ask to see if they have them in stock and compare it to yours

im gonna order the bulb from superbrightleds.com but i want to make sure to order the right one. for anyone that has ordered this before is this the right bulb:

leds suck,they will strobe after 2 months or less,go ccfl

 

look up member "Yume" and check his thread. he has a ccfl for his license plate light and it looks clean
