Sedan Trunk Opening Issues

Anyone else have problems with their trunk suddenly not opening? Seems to be an electrical problem (and no, it's not the switch in the glovebox.)

Doesn't want to open with either the dash switch nor with the keyfob. I had to reach in to find the little tab to release it manually!

I have it booked in, but I wondered if any one else has had this issue?

Just wondering, does the gas cover open or is it locked?

Might be a wiring problem.

I had my entire harness in the rear replaced. Apparently when installed at the factory, the harness wasn't placed in the correct position and the lifting arm for the trunk would rub into the harness, eventually wearing into it causing my trunk to malfunction along with my tail lights operating intermittently.

Good luck...
