you need to take off the tire, remove the fender wall to access the back of the headlights. It pops out really easy after it's all said and done.

+1

After u peel back the fender wall plastic, pull the little cap out to expose the bulbs, go ahead and pull that lil bastard out.

i just tried to take it out during my lunch break and i still can't seem to get to the bulb. it seems like the whole back part of the headlight is being covered up.

I looked through the service manual and i can't seem to find information regarding the headlights. does anyone have a picture of what the back part of the headlight looks like on the '06 models?

you dont need to know. i went into doing it blindly too. read the thread i posted. i jacked up my front end, turned my wheels all the way to one side and peeled down the lining. Inside theres a black cap to the back of the fog housing. twist it off and shove your hand in there to feel around. youll eventually get the bulb out.

Did you remove the fender wall? that's the plastic lining that you take off with 2 screws and about 5-6 plastic snap on clips.

Did you unscrew the plastic cap?

Yes, you must unscrew the 3liter bottle like cap. There's 2 of em, the low beam cap (upper most) and the fog light cap (lower most). You must unscrew the bottom one, and there will be a skinny wire. At the end of that wire, is attached the city light bulb.
