Im glad he was willing to fix it for you. That really was the only issue, it just didnt seem like it was done carefully, but if he fixed it, then it's great.

as mentioned earlier in the thread, its not the cut.. it was the silver paint underneath the lensing. the silver looked a bit distorated at that angle. either way, the lamps were re-touched, re-photo'ed.. and all done.

Hopefully the worst of the weather is past us, so we installed the headlamps this afternoon. Very pleased with the results.

lights look nice...everything matches

isn't it bad to paint the upper reflector black? i circled the area in red...doesn't that decrease light output?

Thanks. That area really only creates scatter and glare. Since they are projectors, they don't need to reflect the light off any portion of the headlamps. No issues with output.

I had '05 reflector lamps done the same way, never had any issues with the light output either.

hehehe, not bad not bad. would've painted the led circuit except the SMDs themselves so u don't see the strip.
