I bought a set of 06 headlights as you can see from my other posts and was just informed by a fellow member that i wont be able to use my bulbs out of my 03 even though i was told i could from the distributor lol... can someone lead me to the right direction on getting the bulbs i need... im upgraded to 10k HIDs once i get the headlights so will i still need these bulbs? im real confused...thanks guys

You will need D2S bulbs. You can use your D2R ones if you notch the base.
The fog lights are H1's.

I bought a pair of bulbs from them for my 03 Maxima and they lasted a couple years.

 

Have you actually seen the light output from a set of 10K bulbs? If not, you should before you spend the $$$. I am more than happy with the look and performance of my 6K Philips Ultinons.

 

I mean if im getting the whole HID kit from my uncle anyways do i still need to buy bulbs or does a $300ish HID kit usually come with bulbs... $325 including installation

 

What's in the "HID kit"? If you have the '06 headlights, you already have the projectors, ballasts, and ignitors. You just need the D2S bulbs.

 

Yeah 10,000k bulbs will have a ton of color and not much output.

help, my g is 04 coupe and i want to change my headlight to 06 headlight. how much is it ? is that infiniti dealer sale it to put on 04 G ? how bout the warranty? thanks though, i'm still newbie.

 

What are you confused about? You can reuse the 168/194 bulb from your old clearance light for the city light in the '06 assemblies. You can also reuse the 1157 bulb from your old turn signals for the turn signals in the '06 assemblies. You need to buy a pair of D2S bulbs for the bi-xenon projectors and a pair of H1 bulbs for the new fogs.

Also i want either 10k blue bulbs or 12k purple ... im deciding on it. Is there another site you guys can refer me too... that site only accepts paypal and i dont have a paypal account and they dont offer the 10k bulbs.
