yeh i got my friend some philips 6000k d2s bulbs from ebay

this was the seller

at first i thought it was sketchy cause authentic is spelled wrong but my friend wanted to take the chance...and well...we got lucky

you really like them??? Could you really tell a difference from stock hids??

HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE difference

to me, my friends, and plenty of other members on here

the stock bulbs look like really bright halogens

ultinons actually look like HIDs

i think this pic was posted as a comparison of 4300k (stock) vs 6000k (ultinons)

or maybe it was 8000k...i don't remember...i think it was 6000k though

lol

ultinons come in 8000k?
For some reasons my ultinons look alot whiter. Seldom get the bluish look. Only when they'e warming up I guess.

Same here. I'm thinking about going with Philips 8000K or back to my McCulloch 6000K.

I have a set of D2S 6000K Ultinons for sale that have about a week of use on them. Anyone wanna trade for a set of D2R 6000Ks Ultinons?

damn that looks nice but not brighter to me (is it blurry??) :| , it just looks more blue

Are you saying that you want to pay someone to install the 6K bulbs? Swapping the bulbs is easy...you can probably do it yourself in 5 to 10 mins with minimal effort.

Philips does not make 8000k bulbs.

You would not want them anyway, you loose too much output. I had a set of 8000k bulbs and was not happy with them.
