Lightbulb 50 Watt Bulbs/Ballast

Looking for more light.

I've got a 50 watt HID flashlight and it puts the G's projectors to shame. So I'm thinking, is it possible to put 50 watt bulbs and ballasts in the projector headlights? Has anyone done this? What would be the problem? Maybe too much heat for the plastic housing? Please give me your thoughts.

Thanks, I found it here https://g35driver.com/forums/lighting/122378-brighter-hids.html. I think I might try that, but I am worried about what the excess heat might do to the headlight housing. Anyone else tried this mod? Any problems?

The two HID flashlights I have are the 50 watt version of this: http://www.aerovisions.com/hid/hid_searchlights.html and the 24 watt version of this: http://microfire.cn/Warrior-II-K2000R.htm.

Here's where I first learned about them: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/...isplay.php?f=7
