Quote: I see you have an X which means you do not get to wire into a clearance strip like the coupe guys can.

I would be interested in knowing what wires you tapped into to flash the blinkers.

I have most of my parts just was curious how you have the blinking row working
I tapped the blinker wire that goes into the headlight. One row uses the standard parking light wire that goes to the sidemarker, one row uses the blinker wire from the headlight. Both rows use the ground that comes into the sidemarker also. You can see in the pictures that I have one extra wire in the back of my sidemarkers... that is for the blinker wire.

Quote: Also, you have to deal with legalities of using blue in any of your lights
I'm in Japan now. Legalities are out the window

Edit:
Thanks for the info on the LEDS They don't need to be as bright. I'm going to use 1 row for blue and two rows for yellow. I definitely want the yellow to overshadow the blue. Since they will be blinkers and the blue will be parking lights. Although, I do want them to be noticeable. I might look into getting HID style White LED's (Cool White). That way when I do return to the US (4 years from now ) I will be somewhat legal.

finally finished this mod, spent hours on this and thanks for Midnight's instructions.
But after i had it for 2 days i got pulled over, I knew i ordered the wrong light colour, but I didn't know amber is the only allowed parking light colour, in ontario anyways.
So now i'm selling the pair of corner light, check out the video and pictures.

^^^I don't think red is legal anywhere. You can only have red parking lights in the rear of the car.

BTW, clean job

Looks nice. Sucks you had to find out the hard way your color wasn't legal.

Glad I inspired someone

nice work, surprised you can fit so many of them in there.

oh make sure white city lights are legal in your province/state, it's $120 fine in Ontario for any colour other than amber.

^^^I'm in Japan it's illegal no matter what color I use. That light can only be a blinker, but it's a law that isn't enforced
In order to pass my initial inspection I had to rewire my headlights as well. You know the marker/blinker in the headlight, yeah, not allowed. You can not have a combination marker/blinker period. I don't have that inspection again until 2011

Edit 2:
Here is my thread with my light projects.
https://g35driver.com/forums/san-die...ight-mods.html

Edit:
It didn't fit originally. I had to dremel the backing in order for them to fit.
