does the 2006 coupes tail lights fit in 2004 coupes?

i love the new style of the bubble in the back taillights? i wonder would they fit into any spand of 2003-2005?

Yeh im pretty sure you can just swap the two, just like the headlights

what is the change in the headlights?

Projector bixenon HIDs, no clearence strip, city light, and fog beam only.

yes, 06 tails fit on the 04! Headlights are the same except for the style and that the you have bi xenons which function as both your high beam and your low beam. What was the foglight/ highbeam on the 05 and earlier is now only a fog light. The clearance strip just looks different.

all lights (heads/tails) between any year coupe are direct plug and play swaps

The one caveat not mentioned in this ancient thread is that the button to open the trunk on the 06-07 tail lights won't be functional on an 03-05.

Technically you could pull wires back to wherever the earlier model trunk release is located and splice it into the existing harness. Then it would be a functional button.

Yes, but as-is it's not going to be functional. The only trunk release on the earlier years is to the left of the steering wheel (and on the key fob).

Wow I never even knew that earlier models did not have a trunk release at the rear of the vehicle. Good to know.
