of course you can replace them. a lot of us do.

but what is your definition of nicer?

HID color matching? yellow?

imo, yellow fogs > HID matching fogs

aka HID matching lights?

i assume you have stock HIDs? good luck with that..matching halogens to HIDs is not easy and often takes a lot of trial and error a.k.a. lots of wasted money.

try piaa xtreme white or silverstars to match the stock HIDs

if you want blueish lights, then piaa xtreme force.

Ahero's choices are very good...

The The two attachment pics are my original MTEC superwhite 4350 temp fog/high. at certain angles it looked pretty close.....however, you lost some distance because of the temp...

I also didn't really like the blue look in the reflector all the time....
I replaced them with MTEC Cosmos white 4750 temp.....Here you lose more light, but the coating on the bulb doesn't give off that blue hue....These are pretty close looking as well to the stock HID.....

Hope this helps you out. Heres a pic of the MTEC cosmos white I recently installed

I bought them Here

But be warned.....they are not a bright as the stock 3000 temps....
I like the iridescent coating.....its not as pronounced in the reflector.

I use the philips blue-vision bulbs. I gave up on matching since its never right and the loss in output isnt worth it.
