Re: angel eye headlights

if you're interested in those angel eyes, check out clearcorners.com. their prices are rather high tho, but it's something to look at.

It's actually like 2-3 weeks for clearcorners.com to do the mod if I remember correctly. Plus the fact that it's around $800...ouch

The "angel-eye" mod is also not available for the coupes.

I have a spare set of sedan HID headlights, if anyone is interested. There are several ways tp put DDE in a headlight. On ebay there are kits you can buy.

Re: angel eye headlights

GIlovemycar - do you know if any of the kits on eBay (mostly BMW) can be retrofitted to the G35 coupe? Or if there is any way to make a kit?

Re: angel eye headlights

I'll have to check to see if our apertures are between 80 and 85mm...If they are then you can visit www.ca-automotive.co.uk to get their headlight halo conversion rings...You have to call or email to get the pricing but then they also give you whatever info you may need and whether they think the mod will work for you...Just a thought...Yeah, you have to ship them in from overseas, but that's no different than ordering parts from Japan

Let us know if you find an alternative. I like the angle eyes -- but not for $800. There has to be a cheaper / easier way to do this mod.

Re: angel eye headlights

hey if you guys want quality angel eyes and bright enough to see it during day time go email this guy.

http://www.umnitza.com

http://www.umnitza.com/contact_us.php

he and his partner has been doing this DDE setup (daylight demon eyes) for longest I have seen.
I used to have a BMW and I did install his older gen DDE and it was awesome. Now they have better versions of this DDE and the price can't be beat either.

He is trying to make DDE for G35 but he needs the headlight to fit it in. I am sure he will figure something out and put something good to the public.

There is a Fiber Optice DIY Demon Eye Kit in the works that myself and Umnitza (mentioned above) are developing.

Fiber Optics is superior to LEDs in numerous ways but I will let the pics speak for themselves... here is the Fiber Optic Kit on My IS300.
