A couple HID questions...
A couple HID questions...
I understand our factory HID's are 4300K. (I think) I am thinking about installing the PIAA Super Cobalt 6600K D2R HID from Everything g35.com and wondering...Is the temp on 6600k noticeably bluer? I am looking for that blue look comparable to the factory Acura TL.
Also, I read that the D2R and D2S are compatible with the newer-ish D2C bulb assembly. Is that really true?

The Piaa 6600 bulbs are a lot more blue/purple than the stock 4300k bulbs.
You will loose some output with those bulbs. Anything over ~4300-5000k begins to drop in actual lumens output.
What you are seeing with the TL/S2k,TSX, etc, is the cutoff of the projector. To get that type of effect you have to do a projector retrofit which is so worth it just for the additional light output and reduction of glare on other drivers.
