Changing fog light, main light, hi-beams and side strip?

I am interested in changing all the components of my lights. I understand the process of switching the main bulbs to a D2R bulb (6000 K in my case) but I'm unsure about what to order for the fog lights. Do I need a separate ballast? Also is it possible to change the high beams as well? I can't seem to find any posts that have that info.

I apologize in advance but I have been unable to locate a thread that has info for all components of the lights.

fogs are H4, you can switch out to HID but you will need a kit which includes the balast. There are two types of H4 HID kits available a single light which will give you either fog or high beam (not both) or bi-light which includes a solenoid so you can switch between fog and high lights.

Are you planning to put an HID bulb in the fog light area? If so, you would need a seperate ballast as well as HID bulbs for it. the normal fog light bulbs are halogen bulbs. They are H4 bulbs.

Just realized the H4 kit at plasmagarage.com is dual beam. So if I install that kit, and change my D2R to 6000 K all my lights should match and be HID, right? What about the amber light? How and what do I change that to?
