2005 G35c head/fog replacement.

I've done the search and couldn't really get a straight answer, someone would say this and others would say that...so I'm gonna start a post hoping I can get all my answers in one post...

I'm looking to change out my headlights and fog lights. I don't like the color of the stock HID, they seem to have a little yellow tint in there...if you look at your lights and lower yourself a little, you can see a little yellow tint in there, and from far away (on the freeway seeing a G35c coming from the opposite direction), I don't like the way they look coming up towards when blended with the fog lights...so I want to change them out...I heard philips and osram are the best ones...What color temperature do they offer? and is there a difference in ultinons and regular philips? I know the OEM HIDs are philips d2r 4300k(RIGHT?). so what's the next step after that and that? And also, instead of going with philips for the HIDs, will changing to osram make the color better or brighter?

Second part: fog light bulb replacements. Is using the yellow cap better than getting the yellow bulbs? I like that lexus GS400 yellow and I want to achieve that look. BUT, I've used yellow colored bulbs before and they seem to fade over time...do the piaa or osram bulbs fade? I'm sure they are brighter than the yellow cap, are they? What if I get the silverstar in white or stock color (which gives a brighter output) and then put a cap on them, will that give me a better output than say a regular o bulb with cap?

ThanX guys...

for the fronts they come in 4300 stock 6000 bright white 8000 blue ish and 13000 really really purple haha.. im not sure brand wise but it seems like most of the people on this forum go w/ the regular philips..

6000 is probably the way to go.. 8k you lose way too much visibility and 13k just looks ridicuous

As for the fogs.. i'm not 100% about fading, but from what I understand the PIAA are fairly reliable.. you can get them on various sponsors right on this forum...

GL with the purchase..
