yeh, i know someone who may be able to lend me their lights.

have you noticed how hard it is to sell pre 06 lights these days? no way in hell would i buy a set! i'd be stuck with them!

i need to paint my headlights black, as well. to match the roof that i'm getting back in less than an hour.

Thats why they are so cheap to buy. There is a set going for $200 in the marketplace with ballasts. The ballasts can be sold for ~170 shipped on hidplanet.com. Sell the 03-05's for $100-150 without ballasts, and you just made $50-100. I already have a set, but I'll be modding them and retrofitting them just to see if I like them better with the CCFL clearance strips

i'm not even sure that i can sell the 03-05s without ballasts for 100-150 when people know they can buy 06+s for 200-250.

the headlights will be done in time.
