06 bulb replacement

06 bulb replacement

I searched around for a whle now, but came up empty. I just got some 06 headlights and I can't figure out how to remove the D2S bulbs...can someone help me out?

you twist the silver cap that's plugged into the bulb. then there is a retainer clip that holds the hid bulb into place. its a quick twist, snap and out pops the bulb =)

Just thought of another question....

how does the the functionality of the 06 lights work with my 04 coupe? I know you can just swap them out, but i obviously don't have fogs in my 04, so i assume that i won't have control over them when i put the 06 lights in, right? how will that work? will they just always be on? or just when i turn my low beams on?

Actually, I believe all yrs have the fog light switch. It is located on the turn signal lever in the middle of it (not at the very end like for the headlights). I just put in 06's on my 03 and now have use for a switch that use to mean nothing! I was always wondering why it was there before

the only thing is you won't beable to run fogs while your highs are on

gotta bring this thread back to life,cuz now i have phillips 6000k ultinons....so, can anyone post a DIY on how to change the stock HID bulb along with pictures, im not too much of a DIYer. oh yea, i searched already and found nothing.
