for halogens, stock is usually best also for output, coated bulbs will always perform worse than stock

Hands down... The area that my lights cover now is twice as much. Our stock HID lights are known to be not that good in terms of coverage.

As of brightness, the 4300 ~ 5000k is the best that you can get, anything above, you are just gaining color but not output.

If you really want the HID conversion on the fog/high beam, there are lots of brands out there for $250-300 that are good quality. Here's a dual beam 9003 kit for $299 http://www.xenonking.com/Visionpro-4...d-Kit-Car.html
+1 for silverstars! You can find them on ebay for cheaper than $20 a bulb.

+1 to everyone that said stock bulbs are the brightest. However, if you feel your bulbs are too dull, try replacing them with newer 4300K HID bulbs. I replace mine every year and it is a night and day difference.

HID bulbs will last the life of the car, however they do lose some of their intensity.

I went with a "bi-xenon" hid kit (3000K) for my fogs / high beams. It has the anti-glare casper sheild and I love them. Gives the car a nice aggressive look at night, and I get a ton of foreground light.

If you really want some colour in your light output on the road or whatever. A colour modded TSX or S2k Projector will get you some great colour at your cut off.

Oh so I can buy one of these bi-xenon's? I just want to replace the fogs and hi-beams. That would be nice to get one pair for both. Please explain further, I'm fairly satisfied with the stock HID lo-beams for now.

As I stated in the other thread, the fog and high beam are ONE and THE SAME. You only need one dual beam kit to upgrade this dual purpose bulb. Take a look at this dual 9003 kit from VisionPro for $299 or the McCullouch bi-xenon 9003 kit for $399 ( http://www.xenonking.com/ ).

I've tried like 3 different H4 bulbs to try to get a whiter/bluer look but only lil better.

As it turns out most of the yellow comes from the turn signal bulb that's by the fog/high bulbs. Anybody try switchin that out?
