Clearance lamps - LED swap

I bought some 9 LED SMT II 168 bulbs recently and stuck them in my clearance lamps. While a tad blue for perfection(less blue than the middle picture), I think it looks a lot better than the incandescent bulb and when viewed from the side, the multiple LED elements look interesting. It was hard to photograph but here are some pics.

yup, you can either use a 168 or 194 bulb for the city light.

I dont see what you've done?
I thought you can only use H4 bulbs in there? Fog/High beams only.
Can you post a link to the bulb you bought?

I replaced the small bulb in the inner side of the center headlight housing with an LED. It's called a city lamp and the bulb is the same size found in side markers and some turn signals (168 / 194). It does not replace the H4 bulb.

Turn your lights to the park position and you will see the bulb turn on that I am referring to.

these lights are only in the 03-04 g35 sedans. on 05-06 sedans, the turn signal is used as the clearance light. on coupes, the clearance light is the long vertical strip thing i believe
