so i think that i have narrowed it down to being a bad ballast.. i tried swapping the bulbs, swapping the ballasts to each side, and my drivers ballast is out. i havent seen this happen very often, anyone else? does anyone know a quick place to pick one up besides the dealer? i dont really want to wait a week off ebay! =/

secondly; i bought the 06 headlamps and while going to swap them i noticed that the bulbs were all different, but i dont have the 06 bulbs except the HIDs. wouldnt this mean that all of the plugs on the 06 lights are different?

bulbs are different. they are 7440 and h1 repsectively

 

ok and now everything is back together, still using the old headlamps, and now both headlights are working again... hah wonderful.. has anyone had this happen to them before? i dont know if i should go buy a new ballast or not now, i decided to black the housings on the 06 while i had to wait for the ballasts but is that necessary now?
