Just an update,

I got everything fired up and aimed but when I put the housings on, the TL projector moved down. Apparently, the shroud is too big for the housing and I dont want to hack it. Soooo, I am going to change shrouds on the TL's to some smaller ones, this way it wont get in the way.

It's a shame b/c I really liked the shroud I bought. I'll post pics soon.

You are always going to have to trim the shrouds or the OEM bezel to get projectors to fit, just do it slowly until they fit together perfectly and allow for alignment

I was thinking of using those ace hardware flanges. I actually have two of them sitting at home but they are not as nice as the ones I was going to use.

You think those will still be big? They are alot smaller than the orginal shrouds I was using. If so, then I will trim the nicer shrouds.

IIRC, the ace hardware flanges people use for 2.5" projectors, and may be too small for the TL's which may diminish their output since they have a ~3" lense.

haha, too funny, lol

I do feel sorry for my fish and my dog but I have no choice. I am almost finished with this thing.

Ive slowed down because I am in finals this week. Hopefully by next week I can have it done, if not sooner.

Im also going to retro my g/f's 97 camry with S2k projectors (as if I didnt have enough work already). I swapped some clear lenses on those and got a sweet cutoff. I'll post pics of those too.
