Re: Anyone interested in Cleared headlights?

I say do it yourself! Hehehe. Me and my friend took apart my Sedan headlights and took a dremel and dremeled out the orange piece. If you do a search, you can find a DIY instructions of how to do this! That is exactly what i did.! Cost? Dremel!

Re: Anyone interested in Cleared headlights?

sportcoupe- Give the shop a call today, and talk to Anthony, I didn't get my bill yet so I don't know how much it will cost. He spent a lot of time with my lights, so he is very familiar with everything about them, so the time won't be as long with yours as it was with mine. Let me know how it goes.

I don't reccomend doing it yourself unless you positively know what you are doing. Mr.Zipps originally did my lights, and he THINKS he knows what he is doing, and i've never seen something so bad in my life. You can really screw up your expensive lights if you fool with them. I took pictures of Mr.Zipps job, and will eventually start a new thread with all those pictures and the story of what happened. The place that I had mine done definitly knows how to do them correctly.

Re: Anyone interested in Cleared headlights?

Here are the prices.

If you bring your car to him and want him to take off the headlights, clear them, paint them, and reinstall them..it is $475.

If you bring or ship your lights to the shop then it is $250 + shipping. You choice of color paint, and bulb.

Take into consideration that you may find people that do it for cheaper, but it will not come out as nice. Mr.zipps does an absolutely TERRIBLE job..i know from experience. If you are going to do this MOD, do it the right, the first time.

Give him a call, let him know what you want, and then you can work out a date with him to get it done. It definitely looks awesome when it is done. I've noticed other people staring at my headlights in parking lots, and it shocks other G owners as they pass by. Definitely my favorite MOD yet.

Re: Anyone interested in Cleared headlights?

Sedans and coupes. If you call him and work out a good time to bring your car to him, you can probably work something out where you bring it first thing in the morning and have it done by the afternooon. If you ship them to him, you can overnight both ways so he can do it in a day or 2 and you can have them back in a few days. Give Anthony at the shop a call..im sure he will work something out. He's a very nice guy.

Re: Anyone interested in Cleared headlights?

i know the prices are a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for. If you pay mr.zipps 150 he is going to butcher your lights..he does a horrible job, and eventually i am going to start a thread to prove it. if you want to spend an extra 100, then you will get them done the right way. Anyone interested, let me know.

Re: Anyone interested in Cleared headlights?

maybe we can do a group buy on them..if 5 or more people do it, maybe i can get a killer price on them. I'll check with him, and let you know. Would anyone be interested in that?

Re: Anyone interested in Cleared headlights?

I'm in Orlando, FL. Shipping my lights up there cost almost 300. Anyone want to have there lights done up there and send em down and I'll send you mine. But thats pretty much the same thing. ANy ideas! I want this done really bad! Can he color-match the housings to the paint of the car?
And 250 does seem a bit high.
