do a search....I believe someone did something like that. I'm pretty sure you have to separate the lens from the housing.

I think he wants to take them out, not open them.

Its really easy, there are three screws holding each light. Just pull back the carpet in trunk to find em; pull back some of the carpet on the sides too, one of the 3 screws should be around that area.

The mod is REALLY easy btw, i did it to my lights.

Idk why anyone would do this. The stock G35 taillight is by far the most aggressive yet beautiful out of any other car on the road right now. Just the ring makes it look like either an Acura RL, a Scion TC, or an Eclipse at nighttime.

This is true, but I feel the rear needs something fresh yet still OEMish. I wish I could get the top two rows of the square LEDs to be off. So the car would look like this:

O_ _O vs. O= =O

By far the best mod for taillights is the Skyline look. I don't know if anyone was fully able to do this. Speedraver had posted some really good photoshops of this. The Topsecret G35 has this mod....there's a video of the car in action in the tunnel and the lights look amazing.

So it would look like:

Scroll down about 3/4 of the page down.
