Switch for Clearance Strip

I swore for the 03-05 headlights, there was a switch to turn on/off the clearance strip bulb independently once the headlights are on... or am I wrong??

It's the same switch that turns on your side markers and rear parking lights.

They come on with the parking lights. You can't turn them on and off independently.
