03 Sedan - eBay Headlight Question

I searched and couldn't find the answer I was looking for... so if this is a repost, please point me to the right thread.

I have the regular (non HID) headlights and I'm looking to either swap them for the factory HID assembly, or just black my stock ones out. If I was just to go with the black headlights, I was looking at an ebay auction like this, LINK and noticed clear turn signals. I was wondering if anyone had experience with these and their opinions. I know a lot of people just paint the factory ones, but I really don't feel like messing with it and something like this looks like an easy swap.

Opinions anyone? Anyone have these ebay black assemblies?

Thanks!!

Nathan

The research I did on the boards led me not to go with the exact ones you posted up the link for. I read a few threads that stated they had bad fitment and quality.

I contacted the seller for more details as they always state their headlights are for 03-06. 03/04 & 05/06 headlights are different in shape. Their only answer "they will fit" That changed my mind forsure.

I winded up purchasing a set off of ebay (base Halogens, not modified) because I needed new lenses badly and couldnt find any from a wrecking yard. IMO, redo your stockers and stay away from ebay unless they are true OEM headlights (off of a wrecked G).

Good luck

Can you link me to the auction where you bought the base OEM halogen from. My friend has the eBay headlights on his car and the fitment seems pretty good, only thing is they are not sealed that well. If someone actually plans on painting their 03/04's... it'd be easier to buy the ones off ebay and just use the inner housing since its already painted and cleared out and the lens on your stock HID headlights.

Here you go

These are not OEM (Nissan) headlights. They are replica/replacement headlights. Just wanted to be clear on that.

You can always buy the oem HID ones too if you want an upgrade. They will plug right in.

sorry to bump an old thread but I am wondering if the black JDM ebay head light bezels would fit into our OEM headlights. Figured it would be an easier swap than the risk painting them. Think it could be done? If not Chris I'll hit you up!! I really would like it done
