Superbright LED's have been known to go out, but they are cheaper.

I have always ran VLED's and have not had any problems at all.

Currently, I am running 194 Hi-Power for my license plate and my trunk light.

As for my domes and door lights, I am running 9-LED 31MM festoon. All my LED's are HID white.

As for SMT, I have no experience with them. I bought all my bulbs a few months before SMT came out but I am happy with mine. I actually get compliments all the time on the interior lights.

The guy told me the same thing, but I have not seen a picture of them yet. Thanks for the info regarding the 31mm festoons.

As for the 194's in the side markers, those SMT ones may be too big. When I used to have side markers, I used Hi-Power 194's.
Do you have the link for the 31mm festoon bulbs on v-leds? I could not get it to come up with the search function. Do they come in red?
