Question '06 Projectors Cutoff -- Weak to anyone?

Don't get me wrong, they look fantastic and do a great job. But the more I notice lately when I'm next to other cars (depends on the car obviously), our cutoff isn't nearly as defined as other OEM projectors. I noticed it the most when I was going up the off-ramp, by looking to the side of the road along the wall. The car ahead of me (in this case it was an IS350) definitely had a very defined cut-off line on the wall along side them, where mine seemed to be less smooth...sort of a bit blurry if that makes any sense.

I guess what I'm asking is, are our projectors not the greatest as far as cutoff goes? Because it obviously seems that way to me . I just wanted to see if it was just me, or if anyone else seems to notice this as well.

`John

Our projectors aren't the best and they aren't the worse either. The output is blurry because of the use of fresnal lenses. If you want a more define cutoff you have to replace the lense with clear ones.

Yeah, I definitely know about replacing the lens (also to color-mod). I was just wondering if their cutoff isn't nearly as distinct as other OEM projectors. As for my headlights, I have no idea if they're the recall or not. I bought them used, but I'm pretty sure they're pre-recall.

Perhaps I should check that out. This should make the cut-off more distinct?

You need to do a clear lense swap and colormod

Could anyone hook that up on the boards, and how much does that cost?

it'll still not be as sharp as some of the other cars because of the lens cover. I have TSXs and TLs on my Gcoupe and the lens cover makes the cutoff fuzzy.
