a buddy of mine has these on his roadster... they look pretty good up close; they did kinda seem like they were protruding from the headlight but are in fact on the inside of the lens cover if that's what your talking about... i think a flush mount would have looked 10x better than just a surface mount

I guess some people will never understand why is it that I do what I do and how that's different than just sticking colored LEDs inside and outside the headlight and call it headlight mod.

Has anyone tried to insert LEDs into the 07+ headlights divider between the turn signal and the foglight?

I could have swore that car customization is all about customization and doing what you like. Customization in the name alone implies creating something that is custom and therefore unique. I think that the Z led headlights are pretty damn cool. As with all people, there will be some that like it and others that hate it, but if done correctly there will be people that are always jealous. I hope someone does this with the Kuruma. I have one and would love to see it! Just my $.02

It's only unique if no-one else has it...

And how many other people have it on a G35? Apparently not many...

This is the key, which I have yet to see. Mounting Superflux style LED's to the outside of the bezel? Amateurish.

a lot of things are not done on the G35 not because lack of capability, some of us have a sense of taste.

adding LEDs to outside of housing to poorly imitate Audi headlights is tantamount to adding a giant metal wing to any car to imitate a race car or create a supposed race look.

you can be unique by having a turd on your hood at all times, doesn't mean it's right to do it.

thats retarded. its not an imitation, its inspired by the audi foglights on the S6, i dont know why you guys get so riled up about this. no one has done it to a g and if you pulled it off without making the housing unit look ricey, but making it look like an OEM unit, it would look really clean, unlike your idea of throwing a turd on your hood or the huge metal spoilers.
