LED License Plate Bulb Comparison (Stock vs Blue vs White) w/PICS!

In case anyone was wondering, like I was, about license plate bulb replacement and what they will look like when going to LEDs from stock, here you go. I picked two sets up courtesy of superbrightleds.com.

What I picked up
WLED-x4 LED Wedge Base Bulbs in white and blue.

Blue is going to be far too blue to drive with. You will get pulled over in a jiffy with them. White is perfect in my opinion and won't net you a ticket It also looks "blue" when side by side with the stock jobber.

Here are the pics

They do also make the LEDs in a x6 configuration(6 leds instead of 4), but I was reading on here that they were too bright so I went for the x4's.

No problem. This forum has been of great use to me, so I figured I'd contribute, even if in a small minor way

I am running VLED High Power 194's and those by far are brighter than the stock bulbs and those you have. They have even light distribution like the OEM bulb.

White LEDs take it hands down, IMO.

If an officer wants to see my plates, then he should have his headlights on.

I went with the x6 config and its perfect, it doesn't seem too bright.

You get VLEDs from V-Leds.com.

Here is the direct link:

Based on what everyone has to say on here, I would never buy anything from superbrightleds.com. VLeds have never failed me.
