06+ jdm tail lights side light isnt working

06+ jdm tail lights side light isnt working
hmm i have an 03 and i had 06+ taillights, but then when i installed the jdm ones, the SIDE of the tail light isnt lighting up. any sugestisions?

06-07 taillights dont have the sidemarker lights anymore

theres no bulb, you have to retrofit some in

i had 06+ tail lights on before...then i put these jdm ones and i saw an 02-05 rear tails and i started thinking..

haha i should of read this tread earlier because i ended up taking up the trunk apart and checking the wires and stuff ehh.. thanks everyone

im pretty sure 06+ tail lights side lights work... if one goes down does the other one goes down as well? what else could it be? ****

redlude97 is correct. '06 UDSM tails have side markers. '06 JDM tails do not. You must retrofit some side markers if you wish to have that functionality.

oh i see, so the 06+ did have the sidemarkers right? i wasnt aware that the jdm ones didnt have them. well thanks for clearing that up.

yes, 06+ did. and ALL jdm taillights doesnt use sidemarkers.
