Aiming Headlights on Lowered Vehicle
I have an '06 sedan and I can't figure out how to aim the darn headlights, and I really need to because I have a good drop on the car. I have even looked at the service manual and what it's showing does not make sense. I will take pictures tomorrow morning if that helps any. The whole phillips screwdriver thing i don't think will work. I did find a thread where some said a small ratchet is needed, however, even with that it seems that it may not work because of the casing of the headlamp. Would I need to cut it?
yours might be different, but on my car...
theres a oval looking hole with a gear looking thing down in there. get a phillips head screw driver and just adjust it. its pretty simple.
not sure if the sedan is the same.

Got it figured out just now. I took a look at the service manual again and saw the teeth. I adjusted them so I can see better, and I'm probably blinding people but I dont drive at night, just in the mornings when nobody is on the road so tomorrow I'll find a wall and properly adjust. For anyone who is in the same situation, I'll take pics tomorrow but here is the pic from the service manual.

The key is the lower picture, follow where that is. I'm pretty sure it's just like yours express705

if your drop is even front to rear, then your lights should not need aiming. They are set from the factory to angle downwards ~1.2%. Do NOT aim them up just because you are lowered.
using a modified version of my aiming thread in the diy section should keep your headlights within DOT specs and provide better vision without randomly adjusting them to some arbitrary height
