hey guys.. so one of my fog lights just burned out and I need to get new fog lights. I just did some research on this forum and I found out that most recommended are MTECs .. I went to ebay and found few different types of H1 for the same price ($25).. but my question is what would be the difference between 100W and 150W? or maybe you recommend something else not MTEC?

PS. I know that 150W is brighter (duuh) but would it do anything to electricity etc?

 

Neither of those should be used, the OEM h1's are 55w, using anything higher increases your chance of melting your housing, or melting the stock wiring which is likely meant to only handle the amperage of the 55w bulb

+1 you want h1 12v 55w bulbs for coupe 06+ projectors. i picked up some cheap ebay bulbs for $10 when my piaas burned out. color isnt what i wanted. guess im going to spend the $ on some 8000k piaas or something.

 

any recommendations? I was reading old topics and it looked like MTECs are the best

I have the box right here and it says

60w/55w input
135w/130w output


I haven't put these in yes because i don't want to run higher wattage bulbs, but everyone and their mother on this site has a set of these it seems.
