Hes the only one i know who changed them..

photo removed

Thanks, i'll have to check them out. They are the last lights i need to change. I want to see how your SMT's look first because i might change mine out to SMT's. I have SMT reverse lights and they are bright as hell and pure white.

No doubt might take a week before i get them up so PM me if you dont see them up next week.. and i was thinking of switching my reverse lights.. but honestly i feel like they light up the rear enough for me to see... is it really worth changing them? do you have any pics i could see?

I did it more for color than for brightness. I live in the city, so there are always street lights or other lights around, so I don't really have much of a need for bright reverse lights.

I did it to ditch the ugly yellow colored bulbs and get a more pure white bulb. I was just surprised to see that the LED's were just as bright as my stock bulbs. I just figured my entire back end was all LED anyway..why not complete the look

I'd love to get a pic if i can track down someone willing to put my car in Reverse for me while i snap a pic.

I got my LED's from VLED.com and superbrightleds.com

I'm prob gonna have extras when this is done. I keep ordering more to try out different LED's. SMT LED's are the way to go. The regular LED's still have a little blue in them since they contain phosphorus.

blue leds ftl
clear corners ftl
cleared turns ftl

get some spray on tint, bake your headlights, tint the turn sigs and the corners, paint the surrounds of the housing. blue is illegal and invites harrasment, clear corners has been done to death as have cleared turns... i did it on my civic in 95.
use your imagination and do something that you DIDNT see somewhere.

i idid clear corners and cleared turns, NEVER did blue leds. i disagree with the whole rice reason, i think it's stupid for people to do things to their car that's BLATANTLY illegal. if you want to have your car be a trailer queen, blue leds can look ill. when i say the corners and turns are fail, it's cause its been done to DETH.
