Where can I get quality 8000k HIDs for my 06 headlights?

I want a reliable brand that isn't gonna burn out. All the links I found didn't work. Please point me in the right direction. Thank you.

can't recommend 8000k, but in 6000k - Phillips Ultinon is awesome.

Phillips are your best bulbs out, however they are fairly expensive.

There aren't many reputable 8000K brands, so you are going to be taking your chances with whichever brand you pick. MTEC seems to be popular amongst the G35 community.

Most seem to stay away from the 8000k because it greatly reduces visibility. The same company that sells the mtec also sells a much cheaper bulb that comes with a one year warranty.

I would def advise Philips Ultinon 6000k for reliablity..like stated above you will lose visibility if you go any higher.

I'm not too worried about the loss of light output. Everyone who has 8000k seems to be fine with them. Just need to know if ds2 and d2s is the same

Hey everyone, while on the subject of 8000k vs 6000k pros and cons regarding visibility, distortion, and what not... I have a question.

OK... BIG TIME newbie question I'm sure, but here it goes....

What is the highest output HID bulb I could put on my 04 coupe without burning out anything or risking some sort of electrical problems?

My 04 coupe has stock lighting, in other words, I haven't switched them out to 06+ headlights.

Thanks in advance for this guys, and sorry to throw such a newb question.
