Hey i bought some headlights and when i received them i noticed that the high/low beam bulb which is an h4 in my original headlights has been changed to a single highbeam h1 bulb in the new projectors headlights. My question is... will these assemblies bolt up and hook right up to my original wiring or will i have to makes changes to make this work? And if i have to make changes then please inform me or the specifics? Thanks for ur help.

 

what do you mean H4? 03-04 coupe comes w/ D2R bulb (low beam) (high beam is 9003) correct me guys if im wrong. 05-07 the bulb size is D2S.

03-05 are the same.

06 and up and projectors. And yes, you just plug them in and they work.

Then they must be from an 06 model because they are projectors, what im still a lil confused about is wut bulb plays the role of the foglight if the 06 headlights have only the h1 highbeam instead of the high/low beam h3 aka 9003 for those who dont know that its the same thing. Thats why i wasn't sure if they would plug right up since the foglight might be a different bulb on the assembly. I am trying to add led's to the inside of the assembly and i want to wire them along with my foglights so they turn on together, that is why i need to know which bulb would act as a foglight. It would be a great help. Again these must be from the 06 model due to the fact that they r projectors (d2s low beam, h1 highbeam, ?? foglight) . help me out thanks

 

id should be self explanatory when you are putting them in, just plug and play exactly how your non projectors where.

You are confused. Let me clarify.

On the 06+ projector coupe headlights, the d2s bulb is for the bi-xenon projector and acts as both your low-beams OR high-beams when u switch them on.

The H1 bulb is your foglight.

This is of course different than your old lights, which had a low-beam and then a hi-beam/fog.
