hey guys...i want to do some work with my headlights...i have seen alot of nice headlight LED jobs...just wondering if anyone knows step-by-step instructions to add the led lighst on the headlight...i wanna do somehtin similar to the picz i attatched...would be a big help if someone gave me a site or something...looked all over cant find except for picz of ppl with their custom headlight if u guys think this is gonna be a hard job to do...and recomend me to do at a custom shop...anyone knows any shop here in mississauga or toronto area? thankz!!!!

 

there are some good threads in the "lighting" section on this form, scroll down a bit at the home page, they have a LOT of great info there! I had an 04 coupe i put projectors in and a CCFL bulb in the clearance strip... It's not easy, most important thing is to take your time, dont rush it! Aiming you're head lights was probably the most difficult/time consuming part of the whole project. And also making it look ascetically pleasing. I'm planning on doing it to my 05 coupe but with quad projectors this time.

 

but now that i think of it, you're not doing anything with the projectors... so the LED's are actually a pretty easy job. Get a strip of LED's online, dont make you're own strip it's not worth the time for the difference in money.

 

oh so u can get the led stripe from ebay? but if i get it...is there any step-by-step instruction how to hook it up? i found the guys who made this led on his headlights...but he has no instructions how he did it....if anyone knows...plzz tell me...thankz

 

go to either the DIY section or the lighting section on this forum, there's on guy that has a great write up on how to put CCFL bulbs in, do the same thing but drill some holes in the plastic rigid strip and put the LED's in.
