05 Coupe Headlight Bulbs Designation Question
I'm not too familiar with different types/models of bulbs and am looking to replace the ones on my 05 coupe. I will be opening the headlights and installing leds in the clearance strips. I also want to replace the high/fog, low beam and blinker/parking bulbs at this time as well. Please let me know if I have the correct designations for the different bulb types:
High/Fog: D2R
Low: HB2
Blinker/ Parking: ???
I want these lights to be WHITE. Is 5000k the correct color? Thanks for the help.

DiGil,
Please look at the STICKY at the top of this forum:
https://g35driver.com/forums/lightin...ent-guide.html
It will tell you exactly what bulb types you need.
4800k-5000k will put you at a pure white color, yes.
However, high quality ~5000k d2r and d2s bulbs (<-- like philips 85122CM or CX) are pretty expensive compared to oem 4300k (<-- like philips 85122+)... but if it is what you want I *def* recommend it!!
oh and 85122 is philips d2s series... for d2r i think its like 85126 but can't remember off top of my head

Thanks visibiliti, I glazed right over that sticky, and I was even looking for one too. Mods, if you want, please delete this post as I did not successfully use the search function. Bad DiGil.
I've been searching, but where I can I find these replacements for cheap?
I went to xtremehids.com, but I don't know what that's all about - a little too cheap. What do you think?
Any intel you could provide would be much appreciated. Thanks!
