My Quad Projector HLs! :D

Nice build pics.
As the OP showed, you just have to get in there and do it if you want these kinds of lighting mods. No one's born knowing how to do this, and there's no classes you can take to learn this. Everything is just trial and error, but you just need the imagination to plan what you want.

Thanks for all the comments again, guys.
Yep, I sure did. It was one of my personal goals to keep my solution as "elegant" as I could. Since I was using another set of G35 projectors, it worked out quite well that the spacing on the top 2 mounts of the lower reflector was equivalent to the spacing of the top 2 mounts of the original projector. I almost felt like infiniti did that just in case they ever developed any 'super' HLs of their own in the future, lol. I quietly thanked the engineer that decided to make the distances equivalent...
Anyways, here's the "secret" ingredients:
The pictures should be self-explanatory. The white cylinders are threaded nylon spacers.
Despite it's simplicity, it actually took me quite awhile to figure this all out and source these parts, in addition to finally figuring out that the thread of the stock bolts is M5! Purchasing M5 rod from a specialty screw shop allowed me to re-use the stock black plastic mount clips, which is part of what made the whole setup so "elegant" IMO.
And to everyone else, as E_K said, alot of this was trial and error and testing of ideas. So if anyone decides to rock this out on their own headlights, ya better be uber thankful I just posted all the above useful info cuz it will make your life 10x easier, guaranteed! Although, it's a whole different story for the guys that use non-g35 projectors, because they have to mod every single one of their mounting points! Yikes!

Thanks Visibiliti, that write-up is very in-depth and helpful, great contribution to the forum Can't wait to see the night pics. And the bumper finishes of the front perfectly, your car looks very cleanly modded
and 100 hours of trial and error? Whoa. I mean it would be great to learn everything, like you said it's a very good experience, but I would just be so scared to accidently make a tiny mistake and realize I seriously effed up. I'll tackle it someday, much easier now thanks to your guide

It's hard to make any mistake that seriously impacts things. Even messing up the painting isn't that much of a problem, because bad painting can be sanded and fixed, and light overspray through my sub-par tape masking was removed with a small amount of mineral spirits without damaging the chrome finish underneath.
I guess the worse possible thing that could happen is during the dremmeling of the shrouds and bezels. If you mess up there, you gotta find a new set.

although this doesn't cover every single thing 'step-by-step', it is by far the most detailed DIY retrofit i've seen to date and is EXACTLY what i've wanted to do for some blinding output . just awesome contribution and can't thank you enough. i think some people on here keep it kind of vague and in the dark so their mod is unique. yours turned out sick. i can't wait to see the night shots. hurry please. a few questions:
1. you cut off a bracket on the lower projector and rigged up a new one on the opposite side?
2. did you happen to get a shot of the moded shroud for the lower projector? 3. what kind of stock did you use for the bracket? any extras laying around?
4. if the top shroud is attached to the bezel, what is the bottom one attached to?
5. where did you get the extra sealing caps that you modded for the lower lights? are they available from the dealer?
6. did you gut a 2nd set of projectors or buy them alone?
