Diamond Eyes ;)

(8) LEDs in each projector pod. Instead of aim the bulbs towards the lens like a red demon eye... I spaced them farther apart and aimed them into each other creating a super bright shine like a deep blue diamond. This way you dont see any color dots from the bulbs. Does anyone want a DIY on this? I have a lot more pics of the whole process if anyone is interested.

lol sweet the 2nd and 3rd picture makes it seem like a globe or orb with swirling magic in it, like something from a medieval movie haha!

I guess my only question is how did you mount? And did you mount to the projector bowl or to the cylindrical part immediately behind the lens?

the xeonons totally dominate ... im running 6600K PIAA Super Cobalts D2S xenons.... so I rarely use them together... although it makes my headlights look even brighter. The diamond eyes look much much better by themselves as they do not project light forward...

Im planning on putting together a detailed DIY for these as many guys are having trouble with heat when they put the bulbs inside the pod itself like with demon eyes. What I did was i opened the light... removed the projector pod.... then took the projector pod apart which is 2 parts... the front lens and the back housing. Then i drilled 8 holes symmetrical around the outside edges of the the back of the pod housing. I focused a lot on bulb placement so you can not see any color dots from the bulbs themselves. Then I seated the blubs flush with the inside of the pod from the back.... so only the very tip of the led is exposed to heat on the inside of the pod. The base and the wires of the leds themselves are outside the pod, and coated with rtv. I used quick dry appoxy and high temp rtv sealant to mount the bulbs. If the whole lled bulb and wiring is inside the pod, you will most likely melt something, so the way i did it is the best way I found to deal with the heat. Also, the pod itself has a slit on the top which helps disapate heat very well. I will post pics of everything i mentioned above soon.

etch the bat symbol into the glass projector lenses so when you turn the headlights on it projects the bat symbol on the ground ahead of you

don't think anyone at that show is gonna want to hear the batman theme coming out of a pair of 12" 1,000w subwoofers at 9am but I'll take it under advisement LOL

I may not have my quad projector setup completed by then but at the very least I'll have them painted again with the projector turn signals I mentioned briefly (jury is still on wether or not I do LEDs this time)

gonna be using 4 ballasts. the two OEM in the regular locations and 2 more in a TBD location inside the housings. I found a site that sells these super small ballasts that might do just the trick

Looks good, will be interesting to see how these hold up over time. I like the look. Did it affect the output at all for the projector? I have always been hesitant drilling or cutting anything of the shell/reflector for fear of what it will do to the beam.

From reading, it sounds like you drilled holes in the actual reflector portion of the pod (back piece) I could only imagine this screwed up your low/high beam output as the leds/holes in the reflector dish would impede the beam. Also, try not to run the leds whenever the headlights are on. People experience problems with the heat because they are on when they are being heated up causing it to short. Now if these were mounted on the front portion on the pod, then I could see how it would not impeded the beam.
